3 Asana And Zapier Connections You Need

Today I am sharing with you three Zapier connections that you need to have set up your business if you want to start setting up business automation, streamlining your processes, and essentially just saving yourself time as a business owner. In case you don't know, Zapier is a system that essentially transmits data from one system to another. So it is very much, the middleman -- bringing data from one system, all the way to another system, and joining the two together. Zapier has become one of my favourite systems in my business, just because it really has allowed me to automate so many processes in my business, and saved me so much time and so many headaches. I absolutely love it.

So, let's start with the very first zap that you need to have, if you are an online business owner/ That is to have a zap set up for you as a CEO to get notified when payment of yours gets declined by a customer. So, for example, you can have this app set up from your payment processor, whether that is PayPal, Stripe or Square. In this example, I'll use Stripe because that's what I have. So you can have a zap set up when Zapier sees a payment declined in Stripe to notify yourself in your Slack channel. You will get a notification directly in Slack notifying you that your customer’s payment has declined. The reason why I really think such an important zap to set up is that a lot of online business owners have payment plans for courses, masterminds, group programs, digital products, etc. With so much going on in our businesses and having to manage so many departments, notifications, especially in our inbox can easily get missed. Having that zap set up will notify you: “Hey, you're not getting paid! You really need to follow up with so and so.” There is a process, usually in place to either suspend them, maybe reach out to them, whatever the case may be, but there are steps that need to happen when failed payments happen so you do need to be notified in a timely manner.

My second example of a Zapier zap that you absolutely need to have in your business automation toolbox is probably one of my favourites, just because it has saved me so much time. That is to set up a zap for when somebody books a discovery call in your appointment setter like Calendly or Acuity to have that information put into your CRM software. For example, I have Calendly and Dubsado. Anytime somebody books a discovery call, a sales call, a breakthrough call, whatever you want to call it in my Clendly, their information gets directly input it into my CRM, Dubsado, so I don't have to worry about copying and pasting their information into my CRM at all, it is automatically done. When I am going to send out a contract or to follow up with somebody that I didn't hear from after a sales call, I just love having it all streamlined in one place in my Dubsado. All of my leads and clients are all then in one place because of this zap. When a lead turns into a customer, I can easily go into Dubsado and all their information is already there. I have my contract set up, my invoices, and my packages, all there. It takes me five minutes to go and send them that contract and invoice.

The last Zapier connection that I'm going to share with you may not be relevant for everybody, but for those that do have an online course platform or their clients need to be enrolled into some sort of platform using Zapier can really help you automate and streamline that process. So, when a client signs your contract in your CRM, whether that's Dubsado, or maybe Honeybook, Zapier can actually help you enroll them into your course platform automatically. So again, this zap just saves you so much time, helps you to automate your business, saves you the headache, especially if you do have quite a large group of students in a mastermind course program. Having that streamlined to automatically give them access and send them an email can save you so much time, and the headache from constantly having to do that. It is all automated and you really don't have to do anything after that. Amazing!

So, if you are an online entrepreneur, coach consultant service provider, whatever the case may be and you're considering installing Zapier, I suggest that you definitely do it because it is just going to help you automate and streamline your processes so quickly and easily. The great thing is Zapier actually gives you 5 free zaps to try it out to see if you like it and if it works for you. If you do want more zaps, then you can always upgrade! With 5 zaps, it really gives you a good taste of what Zapier can really do to help automate your business and save you time.
